En este taller se presentarán recursos comunicativos aplicables a divulgación audiovisual mediante distintos formatos, desde monólogos y actuaciones hasta
demostraciones en medios. Se identificarán y explicarán los recursos en casos prácticos reales.
Dr. Guido Santos Rosales has played a fundamental role in research projects both nationally and internationally. His experience includes a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of La Laguna with International Mention since 2016, with a thesis that received the highest qualification: Outstanding Cum Laude, also obtaining the Extraordinary Doctorate Award in the branch of Health Sciences. He’s a Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of La Laguna. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the same university and pursued a Master’s degree in Biomedicine. His research training has focused on the field of Biomedicine, with a special focus on mathematical modeling. His thesis centered on the simulation and quantitative analysis of high-prevalence diseases such as malaria, HIV infection, Alzheimer’s disease, and melanoma. Additionally, he has worked in the field of Biotechnology.
With a solid experience in university teaching, Dr. Guido Santos Rosales has taught courses in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology, Medicine, and Chemistry. He has also had the opportunity to teach at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. During his postdoctoral stay between 2015 and 2018 at the University Hospital of Erlangen, in the Laboratory of System Tumor Immunology, he worked on topics related to lung inflammation.
In addition to his commitment to research and teaching, Dr. Guido Santos Rosales has a profound interest in scientific outreach and inspiring young students to pursue scientific careers. He has participated in various scientific outreach initiatives, such as science fairs, science cafes, and research projects for high school students.
